The substance plays the role of a messenger in the body. When the molecules of adenosine enter the brain cells, they block the reactions of other chemical substances present therein. Similarly, the molecules of caffeine that enter the body with tea, coffee of soft drinks, get entry into the brain region and play the role resembling adenosine. In this way, the bitter white alkaloid offers an obstacle to various mechanisms in the brain and body regions, and the brain cannot maintain balance in the production of essential chemical substances. Under such circumstances, the brain cells device new locations for the accommodation of caffeine and adenosine. However, when there occurs decrease in the intake of the beverages and drinks, adenosine is left alone to influence the cells in the brain. This leads to lowering in your blood pressure, and the people addicted to tea or coffee suffer from severe headache accompanied by irritation, laziness and the change in temperament. Research findings have revealed that those who take, at least two cups of tea or coffee on regular basis, they are very likely to suffer from loss of senses, physical & mental tiredness, and difficulty in breathing. However, consumption of ten cups of coffee will lead to several dangerous consequences, e.g. ringing of sounds in the ears, disillusionment of the eyes, irregularity of the heartbeat rate, muscle stretching, etc. The symptoms, in their aggravated form, can even claim the life of the individual.
